The Village of Briarcliff Tax and Utility Bill Information

TAX BILLS

Tax bills are issued on June 1.

Installments: Bills are divided into two installments, and each installment is due by the date listed.

Late Fees:

  • A 5% penalty is added if payment is late.
  • After that, an additional 1% penalty is added on the first of each month until the bill is paid.

WATER BILLS

Quarterly Billing: Water bills are sent out every three months.

Readings & Due Dates:

  • Meter readings are taken on the 15th of each month.
  • Bills are mailed at the end of the month and due within 30 days.

Late Fees:

  • A 10% penalty is applied if payment is more than 30 days late.
  • A 15% penalty is added after 120 days.
  • For every 60 days after that, an additional 10% penalty is applied.

Delinquent Bills:

If water bills remain unpaid as of March, they will be transferred to the Village Property Tax Bills in May.
